Shatta Wale has reacted to the VGMA organizer’s plans to lift the indefinite ban placed on him and Stonebwoy.
Speaking on PEACE FM, the dancehall musician said he read about the plan in a news item.
When asked what he thinks about it, he said before he will get back on the Awards scheme, there must be some kind of deal or arrangement.
“I don’t know for Stonebwoy but I told him that anytime that Charterhouse would want to bring us back, with the disgrace they made us face, they will have to come into a negotiation with us.”, he said.
“Because me as Shatta Wale, with how far I have come in the music industry with so much achievement, I don’t know what awards would do to me now. Because VGMA uses us to make money yet they’re disgracing us”, he added
I have never benefited anything from this award but they ended up locking me up in the police cell”, he said.
“They think. they’re playing with kids”, Shatta Wale fumed.
