Grandpapa Reggie Rockstone has acknowledged rapper Sarkodie in his recent interview on Peace FM as he details the tactics he used during his 11 11 hit song with him.
Reggie Rockstone, the hip-hop great-grandfather, released two tracks in 2020 as a special birthday present to himself.
He released 11 11 featuring Sarkodie and Happy Day and in an interview on Peace FM he has said that he took strategies to secure himself from being disgrace by Sarkodie.
According to Reggie Rockstone, he was pressured by his fans to release a song with Sarkodie and he decided to surprise them on his birthday.
Reggie Rockstone said he did lyrical exercise before putting Sarkodie on his song. He said he did not want his fans to compare who nailed the track and hence, he didn’t give a forenotice on their collaboration.
Reggie Rockstone said Sarkodie could ruined his entire legacy but he did not make that happen after spending time perfecting his lyrics.
Reggie Rockstone admitted that it is often risky when a rapper puts Sarkodie on a song and he (Sark) raps before the other rapper.
