Ghana Black Stars defender, Gideon Mensah has stated that he is looking forward to playing against Cristiano Ronaldo will be one of his football achievements having already played with Lionel Messi.
Gideon Mensah was one of the players who helped the Black Stars of Ghana qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar ahead of Nigeria in the two-legged playoffs.
Ghana has been in the same group as Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea with many tipping the Black Stars to qualify for the Round of 16 stages.
Having drawn against Portugal who the Black Stars will play their first match against, Gideon Mensah during an interview with Joy Sports revealed that he is anticipating a great game from both countries.
He also revealed that it will be his first time playing against the Machester United and Portuguese legend having already played against Lionel Messing who according to him gave him some waist pains.
He also mentioned that he will draw a comparison between the two when he finally comes against Cristiano Ronaldo on the World stages as he also looks forward to earning a call-up from coach Otto Addo.
